We are seeking a high caliber professional to join our Global Deferred Reward team as **Group Deferred Compensation Analyst**. In this role, you will be responsible for the operational activities that support our deferred reward schemes and employee share plans globally.

We are responsible for supporting the Performance & Rewards strategy, particularly on the “Rewards” and “Employee Benefits” work-streams within GSC&TC by providing expert advice and guidance on development, implementation, and review in the areas of Performance management, Rewards, and Benefits.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for the accurate and timely recharging of share award costs to global HSBC entities, ensuring global consistency and high-quality output
- Design, implement and execute operational processes relating to the Group’s discretionary and all employee plans with a focus on efficiency and automation
- Operational support and coordination of deferred award vesting’s, including award funding calculations, tax withholding reconciliations, data quality reviews, timetable management and vendor support & queries
- Operational support and coordination of annual share plan enrolments, including employee eligibility reconciliations, data quality reviews, timetable management and vendor support & queries
- Coordination of executive award submissions (new hires) and any amendment requests for bonus awards (late changes). Performing reconciliations and audit checks on final award submissions to the vendor and preparation of regulatory notifications.
- Help to shape and develop our deferred reward and employee share plans, their purpose, products and services towards a more employee-centric approach
- Contribute towards optimizing the Deferred Reward team to ensure our ways of working are simple, effective and compliant.
- Bring the organization purpose and values to life and make a positive impact to the team, HR function and wider community.
- Ability to educate HR colleagues on relevant internal requirements and embed the associated processes, methodology, skills and knowledge required to underpin consistent and compliant practices.
- An understanding of our products and services in order to provide expert advice when required
Requirements
- Overall 6+ years of experience.
- Excellent data management and Excel skills;
- ability to manipulate large and complex data sets efficiently
- able to write/create macros to improve efficiency of repetitive data tasks
- experience managing complex reconciliations consisting of multiple intersecting datasets
- Ability to interpret complex rules and translate into simple and effective language when communicating with stakeholders and/or employees
- End to end process implementation experience, particularly with a focus on both accuracy and efficiency
- Excellent written and verbal English & the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Basic project & change management experience
- Highly organized with good record keeping & tracking skills
- Operational background with a continuous improvement, customer-centric mindset.
- An understanding of Performance and Reward services and/or employee share plans would be beneficial.
