Massage Therapist

**Position: Certified Massage Therapist (Fresher)** **Location: [Mashobra], [Shimla]** **Employment Type: Full-time/Part-time (Choose applicable)** **Reports to: Spa Manager or Wellness Director**

**Job Summary**:As a Certified Massage Therapist fresher, you will have the chance to develop and showcase your massage therapy skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. You will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional massage therapy services to our diverse clientele while gaining valuable hands-on experience and knowledge in a supportive environment. **Responsibilities**:
Assist and work closely with experienced Massage Therapists and other wellness professionals to provide massage therapy treatments to clients.

Learn and perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, and other therapeutic modalities, based on client needs and preferences.

Observe and participate in client assessments to understand individual needs and customize massage sessions accordingly.

Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting treatment room, ensuring it is well-stocked with essential oils, lotions, linens, and other necessary supplies.

Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner, explaining the treatment process, and addressing any questions they may have.

Assist in promoting the benefits of massage therapy and additional wellness services to clients, encouraging them to book future appointments and prioritize their well-being.

Adhere to all state and local licensing laws and regulations related to massage therapy and ensure client confidentiality and privacy at all times.

Embrace opportunities for continuing education and training to expand your knowledge and proficiency in massage therapy techniques.

Maintain accurate client records, including session notes and progress reports, under the guidance of experienced therapists.

Contribute to creating a nurturing and safe environment for clients, fostering an atmosphere of relaxation and rejuvenation.

**Requirements**:
Valid and current certification or license in massage therapy from an accredited school or institution.

A genuine passion for massage therapy and wellness, with a desire to learn and grow in the field.

Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor to build rapport with clients.

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform massage treatments with attention to detail and client comfort.

Professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining ethical standards in all client interactions.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client schedules.

Prior experience or exposure to spa products, essential oils, or wellness practices is a plus but not mandatory.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
