Coordinator - Child Trafficking

Duration: Initially for 11 months and likely to be renewed for further period

Cost to Organisation: 30,000/- per month

**Qualification, Skills & Experience**:

- Master in Social Science / BA LLB from any reputed university with at least 5 years of direct working experience in child protection sector.
- Detailed knowledge about child protection legislations including national and state guidelines
- Thorough understanding about child trafficking, child sexual abuse and child marriage issues
- Thorough understanding of the statutory and legal system of the government in dealing with child protection cases
- Earlier exposure of working with police, judiciary and juvenile justice system
- Clarity of understanding about the urban conglomeration of Kolkata district
- Earlier experience of working with hardcore urban communities and handling critical circumstances in dealing with child protection issues

**Desirable**
- Should be able to take up challenges and work at any point of time (day & night)
- Ability to articulate, effectively communicate and negotiate are some of required skills that this position would demand.
- Willingness to learn, share and facilitate others to learn in the process
- Ready for outstation travel as the case may be with immediate notice and for rescue & repatriation of children
- Good writing and analytical skill along with ability to prepared PowerPoint presentations
- Detailed knowledge about digital platform and social media platform
- Language proficiency - Bengali, English and Hindi

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 per month
