**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications, ensuring adherence to recipes and portion sizes.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients and cleaning of cooking utensils and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper storage temperatures, hygiene practices, and cleanliness standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, and communicate any shortages or needs to the appropriate supervisor.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan and coordinate meal preparation schedules, ensuring timely delivery of meals.
- Adapt menus to accommodate dietary restrictions and special requests, while maintaining high standards of taste and presentation.
- Assist in the development of new menu items and recipes, taking into consideration seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Maintain knowledge of current food trends and culinary techniques, and incorporate them into menu offerings as appropriate.
- Train and supervise kitchen assistants and other staff members as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Cook in a similar setting, with a strong foundation in culinary techniques and food preparation.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, with a commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity and passion for food, with a willingness to experiment with new ingredients and flavors.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently, while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Certification from a culinary program or relevant training is preferred.
