**JOB TITLE**: Advanced Rigger (Offshore)
**NATIONALITY**: Any.
**AGE LIMIT**:Below 50
**ABOUT COMPANY**: Large Oil & Gas company in Africa.
**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE**:More than 5 years of experience working with rigging and lifting tasks, use of mechanical lifting tools, scaffoldings, load attaching and control movement of loads & Safe Rigging use.
**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS**:
- OPITO Rigger Stage 3
- IRATA Level 1 or 2 / Mechanic
- OPITO T-BOSIET with CA-EBS
- IMIST Online Certificate
- High School Pass/Diploma or equivalent.
- Good command of English
**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Main Role**
- Perform day to day rigging/lifting activities on site.
- Use of mechanical lifting tools, scaffoldings, load attaching and control movement of loads & Safe Rigging use.
- Complete job-related risk assessments prior to the start of tasks.
- Ensure that all tools, materials and equipment are maintained and kept in good condition.
- Participate in the execution of shutdown tasks.
- Undertake daily communication and coordination with offshore functions pertaining to key business matters within area of work.
- Proactively take responsibility for self-progression by keeping abreast with latest developments, knowledge and innovations in relevant field of expertise.
**SKILLS TESTING**:English language to a level that satisfies the standards of the Safety English Test (SET) - to be completed before initial mobilisation. Trade/Skills tests to be completed in Kochi, prior to offer being issued.
**MOBILISATION**:Immediate.
