**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that promote active learning and cater to the diverse needs of students.

- Teach English language skills including reading, writing, speaking, and listening, with a focus on building proficiency and confidence.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies to enhance learning outcomes and student engagement.
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to support students with varying learning styles and abilities, including those with special educational needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that enrich the curriculum and promote holistic development.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance, ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships and support the overall mission of the school.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, Education, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Teaching certification or licensure from a recognized institution.
- Proven experience teaching English language and literature at the secondary level, preferably in a multicultural environment.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum standards and instructional best practices for English language arts.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve academic excellence and personal growth.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital resources to enhance teaching and learning.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to contribute to the broader school community.
- B.ED and CTET qualified teachers will be given preference.
