Roles and responsibilities of Psycho-Oncologist at the After Completion Therapy (ACT) Clinic as follows:
**ACT Clinic - Clinical Care**

(I) Routine enrolment of pediatric cancer survivors to the ACT clinic of the hospital is mandatory.

(II) Assessment of psychosocial concerns of pediatric cancer survivors and AYA cancer survivors ( as applicable as per MOU)

(III) Providing orientation of ACT clinic to new survivors and their care givers

(IV) Providing follow up care and periodically assessing the needs of the survivors at the ACT clinic.Counseling, administering interventions in terms of testing & therapy.

(V) Offering need based intervention at the clinic

**Data Management**

(I) Psycho social data should be entered in the psycho social Performa on everyday basis.

(II) The respective psycho social data should be updated in the excel sheet.

(III) Monthly report of ACT enrolment should be submitted to the HQ Mumbai, ICS

(IV) Psycho Oncologist should maintain hard copy of the ACT register as well.

**Coordinating with Other Organisation for rehabilitation**

(i) Identification with the local/nearby NGO’s for collaborative work

(ii) Coordinating with Career counselling centres to set up career guidance services.

(iii) Coordinating with vocational training centres to create vocational trainings and career pathways for the survivors.

**Conducting Activities for Survivors**

(i) Conduct awareness programs for the survivors and care givers as part of ACT Clinic activities.

(ii) The objective of the program should revolve around the survivorship care and needs of the survivors.

(iii) The program should involve the survivors’ participation.

(iv) Program/ events should be conducted on the important days like “world cancer Day, Childhood Cancer Awareness Day, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, etc.)

(v) Encouraging the survivors to participate in national and international childhood cancer events and awareness programs.

**Managing Support Group**

(i) Initiate/ continue a support group program for pediatric cancer survivors.

(ii) Identifying potential motivated members for the support group

(iii) Further mentoring the support group on regular basis.

**Academic Support**:
(i) Identify the survivors who have financial difficulties to continue their education.

(ii) The eligible survivor should be given orientation on the ICS Dr DJ Jussawalla education fund.

(iii) The eligible survivors should be referred to the DJ fund Project of ICS.

(iv) The required documents for scholarship should be collected and forwarded to the head office for further processing., quarterly monitoring of the survivors

(v) Other financial support - Help the Hospital Dr/ paediatric oncologist to set up support network of specialists for funding for late effects of treatment

**Tracking Lost to follow up**

(i) Tracking the lost to follow up survivors

(ii) The present status of lost to follow up details should be tracked and updated.

(iii) The reason for lost to follow up should to found.

(iv) The eligible survivors should get enrolled in ACT clinic and ensure that they are on regular follow up.

**Research**

(i) Clinical practise should be followed by research activity where the psychogist should develop research proposals.

(ii) Psycho
- Oncologist should conduct research in survivorship in order bring an evidence based clinical practise.

(iii) Presenting the research paper in conferences with guidance from the hospital Dr & ICS Mumbai

**Qualifications**:
Ø Master degree in Clinical Psychology from a reputed University.

Ø Exposure in the field of Psycho-Oncology/ Work Experiences in Cancer Set up.

Ø Language preferred: English, Hindi & Assamese

Ø Experience Required: 2- 3years ( desirable)
