**Grade** - M4/M3

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
**1.** **Financial planning and management**
- Track possible investments based on BP; Conduct feasibility and ROI for each project for its viability
- Prepare and represent new investment project to Capex Committee / PMO
- Ensure tight control and governance of the entire project value chain
- Represent Project in all audit function and ensure compliance
- Prepare, audit and release MIS every month
- Track cost and highlight deviations
- Track risk and update mitigation plans and represent in Risk committee
- Lead monitoring of payments and cash flow regarding various projects
- Ensure timely payments related to projects by serving as the point of contact with vendors
- Ensure accuracy of the bills generated by driving a thorough system of checking
- Control capital expenditure management, of the following two types
- a) Growth capital expenditure: for the growth of the company’s production capacity

b) Sustenance capital expenditure: for sustaining the ongoing production activities of the company

**2.** **Executing and maintaining projects**
- Lead evaluation of projects in order to gauge their value and viability, and approve new projects basis this evaluation
- Devise and approve new business plans for successful execution and completion of projects
- Drive accurate and timely forecasting regarding projects so as to attain optimum efficiency and effectiveness levels
- Direct the preparation of presentations pertaining to the organization’s various projects for the board members
- Ensure accurate and updated MIS system furnished with data and details about the various projects of the organization
- Lead automation in the process of project management in order to overcome the drawbacks associated with manual processing

**3.** **Audit management**
- Engage with internal auditors and provide them with accurate financial information pertaining to projects by means of reporting
- Meet with external auditors on a monthly basis to facilitate the external audit process

**4.** **Compliance**
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements / internal compliance as per Vedanta standards concerning various projects
- Ensure adherence to all legal requirements during project execution and management

**5.** **Team development**
- Establish individual performance expectations and regularly review individual performance of the team
- Support team members/ intermediaries in delivering their responsibilities in business as usual and resolve their concerns/ challenges, if any

**Educational Qualification & Experience**:

- Extensive experience in project management within the mining or metals industry, with a focus on copper production.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within project teams.
- Experience in handling technology tie-ups and value-added interventions.
