We are currently seeking a meticulous and dedicated QA Engineer / Manual Tester to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive manual testing. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in identifying and addressing issues, contributing to the overall improvement of our software development process.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Test Planning and Strategy:
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand software requirements and define comprehensive test plans. Develop test strategies that align with project goals and timelines.- Test Case Design and Execution:
- Create detailed and effective test cases based on project specifications.
- Execute manual tests to identify defects, ensuring the software meets quality standards. Conduct exploratory testing to discover hidden issues.- Defect Identification and Reporting:
- Thoroughly document and report defects, ensuring clear communication with developers and project stakeholders. Participate actively in defect triage meetings to prioritise and address identified issues.- Regression Testing: Conduct regular regression testing to ensure that new features or bug fixes do not negatively impact existing functionalities.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test results. Create and update testing-related documentation as needed.- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts. Provide constructive feedback and contribute to discussions on improving overall product quality.- Process Improvement:
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process
- Identify opportunities for automation and work with the automation team as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or Manual Tester in a software development environment.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- ISTQB certification or similar qualifications are a plus.
