**Position: Hospital Receptionist**

**Location**: Kandivali, Mumbai

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Responsibilities**:

- **Front Desk Operations**:

- Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about hospital services.
- Direct patients and visitors to appropriate departments or personnel.
- Register new patients and update existing patient information in the electronic medical records system.
- Verify patient insurance coverage, collect co-payments or fees, and process payments.
- Schedule appointments, tests, and procedures as per the doctor's recommendations.
- **Appointment Coordination**:

- Coordinate patient appointments with various hospital departments and specialty clinics.
- Confirm appointment schedules and send reminders to patients as needed.
- Assist in managing the appointment calendar and ensuring efficient patient flow.
- **Medical Records Management**:

- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient records and medical information.
- Retrieve and file medical records, reports, and other documentation as per hospital protocols.
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of electronic and paper-based filing systems.
- **Customer Service**:

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient needs, concerns, and inquiries.
- Handle patient complaints or issues with empathy and professionalism, escalating to appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients and visitors in the reception area..

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in healthcare administration or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role preferred.
- Proficiency in computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR) software.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Empathy, patience, and a caring demeanor when interacting with patients and their families.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is advantageous.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

- Rotational shift
