**Job Description - UWEUS Ventures Pvt. Ltd.**

**Job Title**: Content Editor

**Department**: MGMD Project Core Team

**Location**: Gurgaon, Work from Home

and a customised software provider company in India. We have expertise

in executing large and complex experiential tech projects. We provide

ready-to-deploy solutions for government museums, cultural entities, the

tourism industry, e-governance and experiences in the metaverse.

**Our Project**: Mera Gaon Meri Dharohar, an initiative of the Ministry of Culture,

of India envisions to culturally map the 6.5 Lakh villages of

the world to virtually travel the grassroots and experience the

diversified culture of India.

The portal features information like the village's geographic location,

demographic aspects and interesting content on their traditional

dresses,ornaments, arts and crafts, temples, fairs, festivals and much.

more. It shall act as a one stop destination to know, explore, research

and visit each and every village of the country. Citizens can travel to

these villages digital and even earn takeaways and incentives.

The portal at a later stage, will be made live for the public to contribute

And add value to the initiative.

The goal is to create a Wikipedia of villages where locals from their

own villages are able to share their stories and talk about their cultures

and traditions.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:We are looking for a Content Editor. The scope of work includes:

- Read and understand project guidelines to comprehend the quality expectations.
- Analyse the content to ensure accuracy and pay careful attention to grammar and sensitivity.
- Approve or reject the edited villages content with respect to quality standards. Keep track of corrections accordingly.
- Maintain records of content, team performance and various metrics such as number of faulty villages per day, number of reworks per day, amount of repetitive corrections etc.
- Collaborate with content and editorial team to ensure best practices are successfully implemented in new content and strategize output
- Prepare and submit quality reports to the project manager.
- Keep record of inspections for future reference.

**Qualifications and Skills Required**:
As follows:

- Graduates in any discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in the English language.

**Job Types**: Internship, Freelance
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: From ₹1,000.00 per month
