Job Title: Medical Representative

Location: Kolkata, India

As a Medical Representative, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling our pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals within your designated territory in Kolkata. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare practitioners to increase product awareness, generate sales, and contribute to the overall growth of the company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Promote and sell our pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals within the assigned territory.
- Develop a deep understanding of our products, their therapeutic uses, and competitive advantages to effectively communicate product benefits to potential customers.
- Conduct regular visits to hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies to present our products and engage in product demonstrations.
- Identify and target key opinion leaders and influencers within the medical community to expand product reach and gain endorsements.
- Organize and participate in medical conferences, seminars, and workshops to enhance product visibility and foster professional relationships.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date product information to healthcare professionals and respond to their queries promptly.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively managing the sales pipeline and implementing sales strategies.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all sales activities, including customer interactions, product distribution, and competitor insights.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges within the market.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, product campaigns, and educational initiatives for healthcare professionals.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 1 to 7 years in pharmaceutical sales, preferably as a Medical Representative.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrated sales acumen, negotiation skills, and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, market dynamics, and therapeutic areas relevant to the company's products.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to cover a designated territory effectively.
- Proficiency in using sales tools and CRM software to track sales activities and manage customer relationships.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a personal vehicle for frequent travel within the assigned territory.
- Positive attitude, result-driven mindset, and a passion for contributing to the improvement of patient health.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Additional certifications or training in sales and marketing will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with the healthcare landscape and medical practices in Kolkata.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹280,000.00 - ₹510,000.00 per year
