**Overview**:
A Dialysis Technician plays a vital role in the healthcare field, providing essential support to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. They are responsible for operating and maintaining dialysis machines, monitoring patients during treatments, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. This position requires a combination of technical skills, empathy, and attention to detail.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Dialysis Machine Operation**: Operate and maintain dialysis machines according to established protocols. Set up and prime dialysis equipment, monitor dialysis treatment parameters, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions as needed.
- **Patient Monitoring**: Monitor patients throughout dialysis treatments, observing vital signs, fluid balance, and overall well-being. Recognize and respond to any signs of distress or complications promptly.
- **Patient Care**: Assist patients with preparation for dialysis treatments, including taking vital signs, reviewing medical history, and ensuring proper positioning during treatment. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients throughout the process.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments, including vital signs, dialysis parameters, and any complications or interventions. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal protocols.
- **Safety and Infection Control**: Adhere to strict safety and infection control procedures to minimize the risk of contamination and ensure a sterile environment. Follow proper protocols for handling biohazardous materials and waste disposal.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of dialysis machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and hygiene. Conduct regular quality assurance checks to verify equipment calibration and functionality.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with healthcare team members, including nurses, physicians, and other dialysis staff, to coordinate patient care and address any issues or concerns. Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and continuity of care.
- **Education and Support**: Provide education to patients and their families regarding dialysis procedures, dietary restrictions, and self-care practices. Offer support and encouragement to help patients adapt to the challenges of living with chronic kidney disease.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in dialysis technology preferred.
- Knowledge of dialysis principles, procedures, and equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with patients and their families.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to lift and position patients and maneuver equipment as needed.

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
