Safety,Health & Environment

1.Implementation of our all quality system (OHSAS-18001,ISO-14001,ISO-9001, TPM,Six sigma) etc. in the shops at grass root level.
2. Execution of trainings related with safety & environments.
3. Ensure 100 % involvement of workmen in training programmes & courses.

Maximum Availability of New Lined AOD, Furnace and Ladle and minimizing delay time at SMS-1 & SMS-2 by efficient planning of resources.

1. Proper managing refractory lining of ladles 2. Controlling the overall process of relining

Minimizing Overall Refractory Cost by proper planning of refractory installation in furnaces and ladles within given budget

1. Segregation of recycled bricks for reinstallation with proper care without compromising quality and working life. 2. Vendor development with successful trials for competitiveness to get the domestic materials at competitive prices. 3. Managing the inventory of refractory materials. 4. Controlling the cost involved in EAF, AOD & Ladle and Timely analysing the refractory costing.

Performance Improvement Project (PIP) Implementation. Brainstorming and find reliable and alternate solutions to enhance refractory life

1. Brainstorming along the team 2. Identify the faulty areas 3. Developing new vendors

4. Improvement of vessel design & refractory quality

Risk Mitigation

1) Precaution of COVID-19 to be taken and implemented at grass root levels.
2) Preventive measures to be taken for ladle failure and increase the availability of ladles.

Masterful Management

1) Ensure 100 % involvement of workmen in training programmes & courses.
2) Execution of trainings related with safety & environments.
