**Job Title: Technician - Research & Development (R&D)**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Product Development**:

- Assist in the design and development of new têxtile products, garments, or accessories while adhering to aesthetic and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with designers to conceptualize and prototype new styles and fabrics.
- Conduct feasibility studies and testing of new materials and technologies.
- **Material Testing**:

- Perform thorough testing of fabrics and garments for durability, washability, and performance characteristics.
- Document and analyze results, providing recommendations based on findings.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for enhancing production processes and techniques to improve efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to streamline R&D practices.
- **Technical Support**:

- Provide technical advice and troubleshooting for garment production and design issues.
- Maintain detailed records of experiments, trials, and revisions to facilitate knowledge sharing and future development.
- **Trend Analysis**:

- Stay updated with the latest fashion trends, technologies, and consumer preferences to inform R&D strategies.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams including merchandising, marketing, and production to align R&D initiatives with business goals.
- Contribute to product presentations and technical specifications for internal stakeholders and external partners.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or degree in Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the garment/apparel/fashion industry.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, têxtiles, and production processes.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., CAD, Adobe Illustrator) is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 per year
