Asistant Professor in Science

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Teaching**: Develop and teach undergraduate courses in botany and related disciplines, including plant anatomy, physiology, taxonomy, ecology, and evolution. Design innovative and engaging curriculum that fosters active learning and critical thinking skills among students.
- **Research**: Establish and maintain an independent research program in botany, with a focus on a specific area of expertise such as plant ecology, plant genetics, plant physiology, or plant systematics. Conduct original research and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals. Seek extramural funding to support research activities and mentor undergraduate students in research projects.
- **Student Mentorship**: Provide academic advising and mentorship to undergraduate students majoring or minoring in biology, with a focus on botany. Support student research and internship opportunities in collaboration with local botanical gardens, conservation organizations, or research institutions.
- **Service**: Contribute to departmental and institutional service through participation in faculty meetings, committees, and other administrative responsibilities. Engage in outreach activities that promote botanical education and awareness within the campus community and beyond.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
