Night Auditor

In the night auditor role, one will be responsible to reconciles all accounts & inventory from the day shift, audit and balance daily financial activities. Success in this role will be demonstrated by implementing systematic processes to provide a smooth hospitality experience while maintaining accurate financial data and zero pilferage. Checks front office accounting records & F&B Store Inventory for accuracy and, on a daily

basis, summarizes and compiles information for the hotel's financial records. Tracks F&B revenue, occupancy percentages and F&B operating statistics. Prepares a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities, reflecting the restaurant financial performance for the day.

**Responsibilities**

Daily Audit of Stock Inventory & Revenue.
- Monitors and checks accounting ledger
- Audits financial statement accounts such as receivables and revenues
- Balances cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift.
- Reconciles nightly finances and reports.
- Ensure no discrepancies across any systems, including Reservation status, rates and no
- shows.
- All departmental accounts and financial information are balanced, so the date can be closed.
- Financial and operational reports, or the so-called night audit reports, are prepared and

distributed.
- Checks to see that all charges are assigned to the appropriate departments.
- To verify that all transactions performed at the Restaurants are supported by documentary

evidence and signatures as necessary and that they have been correctly posted and allocated in to PMS

system.
- To Verify that all charges posted from the POS Software had reached the correct guest folios

and also not missing.
- Verifies all account postings and balances.
- Verifies that all rates are correct and posts those rates to guest accounts.
- Tracks restaurant revenues, occupancy percentages, and other Reservation statistics.
- Prepares a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities.
- Must have complete knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts
- Keep accurate financial records and ledgers
- Help prepare for forecasts and audits
- Process invoices, post checks to vendors and distribute employee checks
- Keeping hotel financial records in order.

**Requirements and skills**

Proven experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality

industry

Experience with accounting and facilities management software

Excellent math skills

An eye for detail

Good problem-solving skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Availability to work overnight

Bcom in accounting, finance or relevant field

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,307.08 per month
