Job description

**Job Purpose**:
The position is responsible for taking on a leadership role in financial planning and execution to improve and maintain the financial health of the organization

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Responsible for overall finance and accounting function of the company according to policies and procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP). Preparation of financial modelling
- Responsible to finalize finance plan & deal with various international fund-raising institutions and agencies.
- Oversee organization-wide budget, investments, income, purchasing, finance and financial controls, records and business functions, financial and insurance policies, and operational audits
- Interface with internal functional teams, including Treasury, insurance, audit, legal, tax and risk management
- Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with federal, state and local tax and regulatory agencies
- Oversee statutory compliance, filing yearly tax returns, registrations, and licenses
- Ensure that Internal Audit and External Audit processes and compliances are executed.
- Advise senior leadership on financial aspects i.e. transfer pricing, set up holding companies etc

Education:
Qualified Chartered Account with excellent academic background

**Experience**:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in leading global companies.
- Should have the working knowledge of dealing with financial institutions, Private equity players.
- Excellent working knowledge of global finance practices and due diligence.
- Well conversant with trade practices in different countries and regions. Demonstrated the ability to conduct complex analysis of financial data; ability to forecast and assess the financial impact of the project and recommend solutions.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, hands-on accounting ERP software experience is desirable.
- CA Preferred
