**Job Description**:
**Position Type**: Full-time

**General Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance with work group and client-specific procedures to meet service level agreements.
- Perform customer and account maintenance as per reports, client workflow solution, postal mail, or supervisor's instructions.
- Direct external work requests to the supervisor for consideration and approval.
- Answer incoming calls and connect them to the appropriate resource. Escalate unresolved issues following the work group's guideline.
- Utilize system and vendor reports to process regulatory and non-regulatory issues accurately and on time.
- Assist in tracking, compiling, and completing reports as assigned.
- Provide recommendations to enhance productivity, efficiency, service, and problem resolution.
- Mentor and guide junior Account Services Specialists, proactively addressing production issues and questions.
- Maintain up-to-date procedure manuals and contribute to procedural changes.
- Research and resolve customer-submitted account questions or problems outside normal procedures.
- Perform other related duties as needed.

**Education Requirements**:
High school diploma or GED

**General Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:

- Understanding of banking principles, operations, and processes
- Detail-oriented and customer-focused, delivering high-quality products and services
- Excellent data entry skills
- Effective customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical, problem-solving, team, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive assignments

**FIS Job Level Description**:
This is an entry-level role with basic skills and moderate proficiency. You will work on routine assignments following established procedures. Close supervision will be provided with limited room for independent judgment. You may consult with senior peers on non-complex projects to gain experience. Experience in customer service or data entry in a service industry is required, with banking experience preferred.
