**Your Role and Responsibilities**

As an Operating System Architect you will
- Design and implement new feature functions in various components of AIX operating system
- Work with Product Managers, Sr leaders and customers to understand the Business needs and implement the same in AIX OS
- Adhere to the AIX development process and own the product delivery for the respective component.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- 8+ years of relevant experience in UNIX/Linux Operating system development with specialisation in any of the key OS domains like kernel, file systems, security, networking, device drivers etc.
- Proven Programming Skills in C
- Proven communication, leadership & Interpersonal skills

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Prior OS development experience in UNIX (HP UX, Solaris,AIX) /Linux Operating systems
- Leading teams and mentoring less experienced team members
- Proven debugging and Problem Solving skills
