Dm/dnb(Neurology)

Conducting thorough neurological examinations of patients to diagnose and treat disorders of the nervous system.
- Developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patients including medication management, lifestyle modifications, therapy and/or surgical intervention.
- Providing compassionate and effective care to patients with neurological conditions, monitoring their progress and making adjustments to treatment as necessary.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals including neurosurgeons, psychiatrists, physiotherapists and occupational therapists to provide holistic care to patients.
- Stay updated about the latest developments in neurological education and research activities.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records and progress reports.
- Respond to neurological emergencies and provide timely intervention and management.
- Offer education and counselling to patients and their families regarding their neurological condition, prognosis and treatment options.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the delivery of neurological care and patient outcomes.
- Adhere to ethical standards and professional guidelines governing the practice of medicine.
