**Aufgaben**:

- Technical Knowledge
- Must Have:
- Experience with Component/system responsibility in automotive domain.
- Steer development of new/innovative light functions.
- Lead the development process together with series supplier and internal cross function teams.
- Experience in supplier management and internal stakeholder management.
- Responsible for proof of specifications.
- Knowledge of plastic part design, tooling and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of materials used in automotive lighting and their standards.
- Understanding of Light: Luminance, Illuminance, Brightness, Homogeneity, color-temperature, etc.
- Interpretation of light Simulations and understanding of crucial light parameters and Daimler specifications.
- Basic System level understanding of automotive electronic systems.(CAN/LIN)
- Knowledge of GD & T, Data Management/Change processes and drawing standards.
- Experience in Mercedes Benz Norms and DBL standards, DIALOG, ACM and SMARAGD will be an advantage.
- Highly motivated, proactive engineer.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with suppliers and program team.

Nice to have:
- Experience with LED technology.
- Data management (Data archiving, Release ready, 2D Drawing creation)
- Knowledge of 3D master
- Written and verbal professional communication in German language.

Tools knowledge:

- Must Have:
- ACM
- NX
- Smaragd
- Dialog
- ZEUS

Nice to have:
- SRM
- START
