Prt Maths

The PRT Maths teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics education to primary school students, ensuring that students develop a strong foundational understanding of mathematics. The teacher will create engaging lesson plans, deliver instruction, assess student progress, and support the overall academic growth of students in line with the school's educational philosophy.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in accordance with the curriculum guidelines provided by the school and education board.

Student Engagement: Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation, curiosity, and enthusiasm for mathematics.

Assessment and Evaluation: Regularly assess students' progress through various methods (quizzes, tests, assignments, and observations) and provide constructive feedback.

Individual Support: Identify and support students who may need extra help with their mathematical understanding, providing individualized instruction where necessary.

Classroom Management: Maintain discipline in the classroom, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.

Parental Communication: Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress, areas of concern, and suggestions for improvement.

Collaborative Work: Work collaboratively with other teachers and school staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience for students.

Extra-curricular Activities: Participate in school events and extra-curricular activities as required.Qualifications:
**Educational Requirements**:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Education with a specialization in Mathematics. B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent teaching qualification.

**Experience**:
Prior teaching experience at the primary level is preferred.
