A neurosurgeon is **a medical doctor who diagnoses and treats conditions that affect your nervous system, including your brain, spinal cord and nerves**. Despite the “surgeon” part of the word, neurosurgeons provide both surgical and nonsurgical treatments

Neurosurgeon Responsibilities:
**Ordering, performing, and interpreting results of diagnostic tests, such as MRIs, PET scans, and CT scans**. Assessing and diagnosing patients, prescribing treatments, and monitoring the patients' progress. Meeting with families of patients in surgery and keeping them updated.

**Salary**: ₹1,215,404.96 - ₹2,530,315.72 per year
