Garment Quality Checker

We are looking for someone who is experienced in the woven formal garment quality check process on a casual basis. Effective communication skills in writing and speaking in English and Hindi are a must for this position. As the quality inspector, you will supervise the production process to guarantee that all our products meet quality expectations. To excel in this role, applicants should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a woven formal garment factory.

**Location**:Vapi, Gujarat.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Understand customer and company quality requirements.
- Ensure customer requirements are implemented and integrated into the factory system.
- Efficient to establish all types of QA systems—a process in all the units, e.g., fabric inspection, patterning, cutting, printing, embroidery, sewing, finishing, etc.
- Effectively interact with the technical, development, and production teams to maintain product quality and ensure that targets are achieved.
- Supervise the handling of sample evaluation and production approval by reviewing the measurement, workmanship, fitting, accessories, etc., and giving comments on the production.
- To give size-set sample approval and print, embroidery, wash, etc.
- To conduct a pre-production meeting.
- To keep all necessary documents and a quality SOP.
- To maintain all discipline and compliance issues and ensure final product quality.
- To maintain regular communication with the management team.
- To prepare and send the QC report to the management on a regular basis.
- Any other task assigned by the management from time to time.

**Position requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a woven formal garment manufacturing factory
- Sound knowledge about the technical and manufacturing processes of woven fabrics and formal garments.
- Excellent communication skills include writing, speaking, and reporting in English and Hindi.
- Willingness to work on a casual basis.
- Excellent computer and MS Office skills and proficiency in Excel are a must.
- Willingness to travel between Vapi and Mumbai.
