**Department Overview**

Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) is one of the nation's leading providers of financial and investment services in the United States offering a full range of products and services to meet clients' unique needs and help them achieve financial goals. It consists of six different lines of business, one of which is Wells Fargo Advisors group. Within WFA, this requirement is with Brokerage Operations.

**About the Role**

**Primary Responsibilities;**

Is responsible for performing a variety of operational tasks for highly complex Mutual Fund transactions or processes that require basic knowledge of Mutual Fund Cycle. Duties may include:

- Process complex operational tasks related to mutual fund transactions, handling client queries hence understanding of Mutual Fund is a must.
- Provide ideas for improving or implementing processes
- Perform moderately complex duties such as processing, researching inquires and reconciling transaction
- Support a variety of operational tasks for simple or routine securities
- Identify ways to improve the overall process
- Regularly receive direction from supervisor and escalate issues to more experienced roles
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal customers
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

**Essential Qualifications**:

- 1.5-3 years of securities/Custody/Investment banking experience
- Basic understanding of US Securities market
- Understanding of Mutual Fund life cycle
- Understands the basics of capital markets and various products like what is a mutual fund, bonds, what is a stock/equity, etc.
- Attention to detail and comprehension skills

**Desired Qualification**:

- Good problem solving and analytical skills and numerical skills
- Typing Skills / Good Communication (Read / Write / Speak)
- Desirable to have experience of interacting with US customers.

Working Hours: 6:30pm to 3:30am
