**Position Overview**

The Legal Operations Onboarding position is within the Office of the General Counsel (OGC) on the Legal Solutions team. The OGC group strives to assist attorneys and staff make the best use of their time by providing centralized services.
- You will be an active member of the Legal Solutions team that supports the Legal Department's Onboarding program and will cross-train in the areas of Offboarding, Business Resiliency, End User Services, and other operational services.
- As an Onboarding specialist for the Legal department at JPMorgan Chase, you will deliver a superior new hire experience by providing exceptional service while maintaining quality throughout the pre-employment onboarding process, technology setup and subsequent review meetings for both internal and external hires.
- You will be a team player, highly motivated and a self-starter with demonstrated experience in operations, professional and seasoned "client-facing" skills and an innovative and process improvement mindset.
- As part of the team, you will own the experience in a regional model of the new hire end to end through all pre-employment tasks. In this role, you will ensure the completion and accuracy of all pre-employment tasks and processes, according to the policy and guidelines, maintaining data integrity, all while diligently marching toward the hire's start date. Pre-employment tasks may include verifying background investigations, drug-test results, oversee the fingerprinting processes and technology requests; escalating issues to direct manager timely and providing regular progress reports will be critical.
- In providing this support, the Onboarding specialist will interact with all levels of staff across Legal, new hires, recruiting, technology, executives and areas of human resource, so strong written and oral communication skills are a must.

**Responsibilities**:

- Facilitate onboarding of new hires and transfers and continuous m onitoring of onboarding status
- Coordinate onboarding communications with hiring manager and new hires/transfers
- Partner with internal JPMC coordinators to ensure all required background checks are completed
- Point of contact for the new hire and the Legal department; communicate regularly with hiring managers, onboarding team, new hires, technology and other firmwide teams
- Validating new hires employment status and are provisioned with proper workstation per department guidelines
- Coordinate license validations for impending attorney hires and c onduct conflict checks, where required, for impending hires
- Contribute to the maintenance of reports, including the pipeline and g ather underlying process metrics to measure and track progress and provide monthly

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ years of experience in legal, technology or help desk operation
- Knowledge of JPMC technology, Intranet, Ariba, Request Center, IBID and RSAM highly desired
- Ability to assist with technology questions/issues, troubleshoot effectively and assist in training when needed
- Exceptional project management skills with meticulous attention to detail, timing, deadlines and organization
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to be proactive, including escalating issues, proposing solutions and when needed, work closely with the technical teams for resolution
