Scrub Nurse

Preparing the operating room: Setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies needed for the procedure.
- Assisting the surgical team: Handing instruments and supplies to the surgeon and other team members during the procedure.
- Maintaining a sterile field: Ensuring that the surgical area remains sterile by following proper aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Anticipating the needs of the surgical team: Being proactive in providing the necessary instruments and supplies during the procedure.
- Assisting with patient positioning: Helping position and prepare the patient for surgery, including draping and securing the surgical site.
- Managing surgical specimens: Properly labeling, handling, and transporting specimens to the laboratory for analysis.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals: Communicating effectively with surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, and other team members to ensure a safe and efficient surgical experience for the patient.
- Maintaining equipment: Cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment after each procedure.
- Adhering to safety protocols: Following all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Providing patient care: Assisting with patient care before, during, and after surgery, including monitoring vital signs and addressing any patient needs or concerns.
