**What you’ll do**:

- Interconnect Technologies Division in the Aerospace Business. This position will be based in Pune, India.
- The primary responsibility of this role is to perform design assignments of moderate complexity from sketches, layouts, and assemblies prepared by higher skilled technical staff..- Perform detailed design engineering using CAD platforms such as Solidworks, Creo 7.0, AutoCAD etc.
- Perform assignments of specific engineering tasks, e.g. a Create 2D Drawing, create 3D models, prepare Specification
- Modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and develop test procedures.
- Perform GD&T & Tolerance stake up analysis for ITD product designs.
- Interact with global cross functional teams."
- Creation of 3D models and 2D detailed drawings of the new product designs and modification of existing product drawings and models.
- Person in this position must have working knowledge of CAD tools such as Pro/E Creo, Solid works, CATIA and AutoCAD, assembly, detailing to prepare CAD models and complete detailed design/drawings.
- Utilize the PLM (Enovia / Windchill) system for documentation control and workflow.
- Person should have good understanding of design guidelines standards such as ASME Y14/ANSI Y14.
- Person should be good at drawings, dimensioning standards, tolerance standards & tolerance stack-up and engineering calculations as required to support design integrity.
- Creation of 3D models and drawings of the new product designs and modification of existing drawings and models
- Sustains process for design standards and procedures governing product design methods, documents and data control for the associated business group
- Utilizes understanding of manufacturing processes to improve new and existing designs & acts as a technical resource for internal / external customers and resolves technical challenges
- Maintain credible communication practice with stakeholders on technical clarifications, testing & resolving of field failures
- Maintain effective communications both verbal & written with customer, team members and cross functional departments
- Be an active professional in continuous learning resulting enhancement in organizational objectives
- Performs quality self-checks to ensure design meet Eaton and customer standards / requirements
- Ensure right quality and on time delivery of drawings & engineering documents.

**Qualifications**:
Diploma in mechanical/ production or equivalent
Diploma degree - Min 0 - 2 years of total experience of product design, drawings and CAD modeling
