**"Immediate Opportunity for Vertica DBA Role"**

Exp: 5+

Location: Bangalore, Hyderabad

Mandatory Skills: Vertica DBA, MYSQL DBA, Backup and restore, DB Upgrades, OS Patching, etc.

Roles and Responsibilites:

- Minimum 5+ years' experience as Vertica DBA
- Minimum 2+ Years Experience as MYSQL DBA
- Should have working experience in backup and restore, DB Upgrades, OS Patching, etc.
- Implement data security measures to safeguard sensitive information stored in the databases.
- Good Understanding on Vertica Concepts and experience on latest Versions
- Performance Tuning
- Monitor system's health and performance
- Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security
- Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
- Provide suggestions for solutions
- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
- Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems
- Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours
- Troubleshoot database issues and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve underlying problems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
