**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
**Talent Discovery**:

- Actively seek out and discover emerging musical talent across various genres.
- Build and maintain a network within the music industry to stay informed about new and upcoming artists.

**Contract Negotiation**:

- Lead negotiations with artists and their representatives to secure contracts that align with Hoopr's goals and the artist's career objectives.
- Ensure all contract terms are clearly communicated and understood.

**Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams**:

- Liaise with marketing, legal, and production teams to coordinate effective promotional strategies and ensure successful artist launches.
- Provide insights and recommendations to product development based on industry trends and artist feedback.

**Market Research**:

- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Contribute to market research efforts to inform business strategy.

**Qualifications**:
**Experience**:

- 2-4 years of proven experience in A&R roles within the music industry.

**Communication and Negotiation Skills**:

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build positive and collaborative relationships with artists and their teams.

**Industry Knowledge**:

- In-depth knowledge of the music industry, including current trends, emerging artists, and market dynamics.

**Self-Starting Attitude**:

- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

**Creativity**:

- A creative mindset with a passion for discovering and developing unique musical talent.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in music, business, or a related field.
