Summary/Objective

The mission of The Production In-Charge(PIC) is to oversee all daily operations of the plant from production, Product Laboratory to ensuring policies and procedures are followed and meeting customers requirements. The develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity. Oversee adherence to quality, safety and statutory guidelines with the objective of running smooth and efficient operations of CFS.

Key Responsibility Roles & Responsibilities

Health Safety & Environment
- Report all deviations, unsafe behaviors, unsafe situations, near misses, and accidents, incidents in the defined incident report format to AL India Safety.
- To ensure Zero Fatality & Zero accident at site
- To support CFS Manager in plant Safety permanence in line with Safety Score card & required actions for Improvement.
- Reporting all Act-In cards, Unsafe acts & conditions, incidents & accidents pertaining to Production activities
- To log all incidents / accidents & Investigation of RCA for required incidents/accidents & closer or identified actions in time pertaining to Production & QMS.
- To conduct Hazop study, JHA as per company requirement as & when required incoordination with CFS Manager & HSE.
- To ensure all Operations staff are covered in Annual Fire Fighting, Hydrant System, First Aid & Safety training, etc.
- To ensure Site Emergency Response & Action Plan is reviewed & updated always incoordination with CFS Manager, MIC & HSE.
- To ensure all Operations staff will be covered in annual Health & Medical check up of plant staff 2 times in a year
- To attend Weekly safety Talk, monthly Safety meeting & weekly Incident tracker meeting, SAIL & Tech meeting tracker meeting & closer of identified actions pertaining to PIC.

Cylinder Operations Management including Test Shop
- To refer & follow all Operations Guidelines & Standards and SOP’s & WI are being updated, reviewed & get approved from CFS Manager time to time. Also to ensure all SOP, SSOP’s, WI’s & applicable JHA actions being followed on day to day activities from Operations reporting staff with respect to, MOC, Safety Compliances & applicable regulatory compliances
- Review production & Test shop performance, Productivity, Production monthly reports on a regular basis with CFS Manager.
- To ensure fulfilment of all KPI reports, monthly reports, SAIL & Technical meeting trackers updation & compliance of identified actions under his / her responsibility.
- Responsible for coordinating with the test shop team for further inspection and resolution, in case of any issues.
- Track availability of cylinders as per customer demand and incase of shortage, guide team to coordinate with logistics team and Asset Manager.
- Responsible for the initialization of new assets in GTS and ensuring all data in the GTS data are correctly filled and updated.
- Review daily production reports from the team and take corrective actions to resolve any issues. Review the dispatch plan and guide team to prioritise dispatch depending on criticality of customers.
- Analyse gaps and identify areas of improvement in operational processes. Drive process improvement initiatives to improve productivity, minimise cost and delivery timelines.
- To ensure updation of IMS Mastering tool documents with porper evidences
- To ensure all cylinders & its accessories including baskets, pallets, manifolds, filling manifolds, filling hoses should be in line with Operations standards. Their drawings availability & it’s modifications to be taken care by following MOC
- To ensure Operations manpower management their shift schedule & shop floor staff competency development, contract staff contract renewal, roll staff Objective settings & evaluation.
- To take care of Production shop floor staff monthly attendance reporting & leave management
- To act as a PIC for plant Customer complaint tracker & to ensure proper record of monthly complaints & it’s analysis as per set company system to be ensured.
- To ensure availability of all required cylinders accessories & filling station related spares are maintained properly. Reorder of all such items with PR-PO process in coordination with Procurement
- To develop recipe for new product requirement in line QMS requirement & coordination with Sales Department
- To have capability to handle & overcome all Production & Quality related issues
- To monitor plant cost. Cost should be in line with annual plant budget
- To drive cost saving, GAP savings & Time management initiatives at site.
- To provide support to conduct CSR activities at site driven by Organisation.
- To arrange motivational programs for plant staff.
- Close monitoring of plant Operations Over time.Target - ZERO OVER TIME

Maintenance of Production & Lab Equipments
