“Intuit Again” is a return to work program at Intuit for professionals returning to the workforce after taking time off for caregiving. If selected, you’ll receive a 6 month paid internship doing work you love for one of the world’s most innovative companies to help powering prosperity around the world You’ll have the chance to update your skills, add new experience to your resume, and make new professional connections. After the 6 month internship, there will be an opportunity for full time offer. The program is open to anyone who has at least three (3) years of professional experience and have been out of the paid workforce for at least 12 months to focus on caregiving. If you meet these criteria and your skills match our needs, we welcome you to apply.
**Qualifications**:
At least three (3) years of professional experience
Been out of the paid workforce for at least twelve months(12) to focus on caregiving
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Strong experience with Java/J2EE
Experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience with web services (consuming or creating) with REST or SOAP
**Solid communication skills**: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong understanding of the software design/architecture process
Experience with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)
Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, and/or Extreme Programming methodologies
**Responsibilities**:
Successful delivery of high quality web or mobile software (requirements, design, code, documentation, etc.)
Contribute to early quality activities, including peer reviews of estimates, designs, and code
Resolve defects/bugs during testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
Partner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitments
**Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams**: product management, various product lines, or business units to drive forward results
Commitment to team success and positive team dynamics
