Job Description MIDDLEWARE ENGINEER - Technical expertise in administering, installing, configuring and troubleshoot middleware components, supporting multiple technologies like Websphere Application Server, Apache Tomcat, IHS, Datapower and Broadvision.
- Installing WebSphere Application Server, Apache Tomcat on various platforms like AIX and Linux in Production and test environments
- Deployment of EAR & WAR files on WebSphere Application Server and Network Deployment Manger.
- Manage the flow of day-to-day operations and tracking incidents status and discussing with internal team to resolve the issues.
- Giving technical support by joining bridge calls when triaging major issues and providing on-call support whenever required.
- Responsible for managing onshore-offshore catchup calls and Providing training to new team members including process and technical training.
- Managing the major release of the product into production environment through detailed planning and post follow-support, including plans for disaster recovery.
- Involved in creating Change requests and implementing them in coordination with multiple teams, Incident handling with root cause analysis and providing permanent fixes.
- Provide Support in troubleshooting program and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning in case of outage
