**Job Summary**:
The School Headmistress will play a critical role in shaping the educational landscape at Clay World School, providing leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight. This position is responsible for upholding high educational standards, promoting a culture of excellence among staff and students, and ensuring the school’s ethos and values are embodied in every aspect of school life.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide inspirational leadership, setting high expectations for staff and students alike, fostering a culture of excellence, respect, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement strategic plans in collaboration with faculty and administration to enhance educational quality, student achievement, and overall school performance.
- Oversee the recruitment, development, and evaluation of staff, ensuring professional growth opportunities and a high standard of teaching and learning.
- Manage the school’s operations efficiently, including budgeting, resource allocation, and compliance with educational regulations and standards.
- Engage with parents, community members, and educational stakeholders to build strong relationships and promote the school’s mission and achievements.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students and staff, promoting well-being, diversity, and equality.
- Lead curriculum development efforts, ensuring a balanced, comprehensive, and innovative curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
- Monitor and evaluate the academic and behavioral progress of students, implementing interventions as necessary to support student success.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
- Significant experience in educational leadership, preferably at the primary school level, with a proven track record of improving school performance.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop faculty and staff.
- Excellent understanding of curriculum development, educational strategies, and pedagogical trends.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of forging strong connections with students, parents, staff, and the wider community.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Deep commitment to fostering an inclusive, diverse, and supportive educational environment.
