**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, customer preferences, and potential growth opportunities in the custom software development industry.
- Gather and analyze data on market size, potential segments, and key players to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define target markets, customer personas, and market positioning for our software solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate market dynamics, customer behavior, and industry shifts to anticipate potential market disruptions and recommend proactive strategies.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products, services, and technological capabilities to effectively communicate our value proposition to potential clients.
- Utilize quantitative and qualitative research methods to derive meaningful insights and present findings through compelling visualizations, presentations, and reports.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders, highlighting key market trends, competitive analysis, and actionable recommendations.
- Stay current with industry news, technological advancements, and market best practices to continuously enhance our market research methodologies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align research findings with marketing strategies, content creation, and lead generation initiatives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of go-to-market strategies for new software products and services.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Market Research Analyst or similar role within the software development or technology industry.
- Proficiency in market research tools, data analysis software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive and adaptable approach to work.
- Familiarity with software development processes and technologies is a plus.
- Prior experience with competitor analysis and market segmentation is highly desirable.
