**Position Overview**:We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Commis Chef to join our culinary team. As a Commis Chef, you will play a crucial role in assisting our senior chefs and contributing to the overall success of our kitchen operations. **Key Responsibilities**:
**Food Preparation**: Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, peeling, and cutting, ensuring they are ready for cooking in a timely manner.

**Cooking**: Execute cooking techniques under the guidance of senior chefs, ensuring proper temperatures, seasoning, and presentation of dishes.

**Recipe Adherence**: Follow recipes and guidelines to maintain consistency in food quality and taste.

**Station Maintenance**: Maintain a clean and organized work station, including proper storage of ingredients, tools, and equipment.

**Plate Presentation**: Assist in the artful presentation of dishes, paying attention to visual appeal and attention to detail.

**Assistance during Service**: Support the senior chefs during busy service periods by efficiently assembling dishes and ensuring timely order fulfillment.

**Inventory Management**: Help monitor ingredient stock levels, notifying superiors when supplies are running low to prevent shortages.

**Hygiene and Safety**: Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling of food, sanitation practices, and cleanliness in the kitchen area.

**Learning and Growth**: Display a willingness to learn and develop culinary skills through training, workshops, and exposure to different cooking techniques and cuisines.

**Collaboration**: Foster effective communication and teamwork within the kitchen staff, assisting colleagues as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

**Requirements**:
**Culinary Education**: A diploma or certificate in culinary arts from a recognized institution is preferred but not mandatory.
