Job Description: ICT Teacher

Position: ICT Teacher **Location: Africa -CONGO**

**Responsibilities**:
Delivering High-Quality ICT Instruction: The primary responsibility of the ICT Teacher is to provide engaging and effective instruction in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to students, following the Cambridge curriculum. The teacher should design and implement interactive lessons to foster a deep understanding of ICT concepts among students.

Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the ICT department and school leadership to design and enhance the ICT curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the Cambridge standards and meets the needs of students.

Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment in the classroom. Effectively manage students' behavior and encourage active participation to facilitate a productive learning atmosphere.

Technology Integration: Promote the integration of technology across the curriculum to enhance learning experiences. Utilize various educational technologies and tools effectively during instructional delivery.

Parent Communication: Establish and maintain open communication with parents/guardians, providing them with updates on students' academic performance, behavior, and overall progress.

Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development activities to stay abreast of the latest teaching methodologies, technological advancements, and educational trends in the field of ICT.

Extra-Curricular Activities: Participate in school-related events and extra-curricular activities, contributing to the overall development and growth of the students.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices, discuss student progress, and contribute to the overall improvement of the school's academic programs.

**Requirements**:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, Computer Science, or a related field. A teaching qualification or certification is highly desirable.

Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in delivering ICT instruction, and experience with the Cambridge curriculum is highly advantageous.

Knowledge: In-depth understanding of ICT concepts, educational technology, and its integration into the teaching and learning process.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
