Geologist

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct field studies and surveys to collect data on geological formations.
- Analyze rock samples, minerals, and fossils to identify their composition and structure.
- Use geophysical techniques to study the subsurface of the Earth.
- Prepare geological maps, charts, and reports.
- Assess natural resources such as oil, gas, minerals, and water.
- Monitor seismic activity and assess earthquake risks.
- Evaluate the impacts of construction projects on the environment.
- Collaborate with engineers, environmental scientists, and other professionals.
- Conduct research to expand knowledge of geological processes.
- Utilize computer software for modelling and data analysis.
- Provide expert advice on geological issues to various stakeholders.
- Publish findings in scientific journals and present at conferences.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Advanced degree in Geology or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations.
- Fieldwork experience in diverse geological settings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using laboratory and field equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in geological principles and theories.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
- Experience with geological mapping and survey techniques.
- Basic understanding of geophysical and geochemical methods.
- Ability to conduct fieldwork in various terrains and weather conditions.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and reporting.
- Familiarity with health and safety protocols in fieldwork.
- Solid computer skills, including the use of geological software.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹30,000.05 per month
