**Job Title: Chinese Translator**

**Overview**:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chinese Translator to join our client team.

As a Chinese Translator, you will play a critical role in facilitating effective communication between our organization and Chinese-speaking clients, partners, and stakeholders. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately translate written and verbal communications from Chinese to English and vice versa. This position requires exceptional language proficiency, cultural understanding, and attention to detail.

**Responsibilities**:

- Interpret spoken communication during meetings, conferences, and other events, ensuring clear and accurate understanding between Chinese and English speakers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide linguistic support for projects, ensuring that translated materials meet quality standards and project requirements.
- Conduct research as needed to ensure accurate translation of technical or specialized terminology.
- Review and proofread translated materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in terminology and style.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information during translation and interpretation tasks.
- Stay updated on industry terminology, language usage, and cultural nuances to continuously improve translation quality and effectiveness.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify translation requirements, discuss project timelines, and address any concerns or questions.

**Requirements**:

- Fluency in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Proven experience as a translator or interpreter, with a strong portfolio of past translation projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Chinese language, linguistics, translation, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in translation software and tools is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain consistency in terminology and style throughout translated materials.
- Strong cultural awareness and understanding of Chinese customs, traditions, and societal norms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
