**Job Title: IPD Billing Executive**

**Overview**:
As an IPD (Inpatient Department) Billing Executive, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the billing process related to inpatient services in a healthcare facility. This role involves working closely with healthcare professionals, patients, and insurance providers to ensure accurate and timely billing, as well as resolving any billing discrepancies or issues that may arise.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Billing Process Management**:Handle the end-to-end billing process for inpatient services, including verifying patient information, codes, and charges accurately.

**Insurance Verification**:Coordinate with insurance companies to verify coverage, benefits, and obtain pre-authorizations or approvals for inpatient procedures or treatments.

Documentation and Coding: Ensure proper documentation of patient records, assign appropriate medical codes, and comply with billing regulations and standards (ICD, CPT, HCPCS).

**Billing Inquiries**: Address inquiries from patients, insurance companies, or internal departments regarding billing issues, discrepancies, or payment arrangements.

**Claims Processing**: Prepare and submit insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner, following up on outstanding claims to facilitate prompt payments.

**Compliance Adherence**: Stay updated with healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and billing guidelines to ensure adherence and minimize errors or discrepancies.

**Reporting**: Generate reports on billing activities, outstanding payments, and other relevant metrics for management review and decision-making.

**Collaboration**: Collaborate with the finance department, medical staff, and administrative personnel to streamline billing processes and improve overall efficiency.

**Skills and Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, or related field.

Proven experience 2 years working in healthcare billing, particularly in an inpatient billing capacity.

Strong knowledge of medical billing practices, coding systems (ICD, CPT, HCPCS), and insurance claim processes.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills to interact with patients, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders.

Understanding of healthcare compliance regulations and privacy laws (HIPAA).

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

The IPD Billing Executive plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely billing for inpatient services, contributing to the financial health of the healthcare facility and facilitating smooth interactions between patients, insurance providers, and internal departments.

**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
