**Roles and Responsibility**
- To deliver financial & non-financial related services in the branch to ensure consistent delivery of customer delight for every query, request and financial needs keeping focus on our process and policies. UB role is also to assist the Branch Operations Manager in maintaining operational control and improving operational efficiency.

**Strategy**
- A.Financial related
- Deliver quality service with accuracy & warmth while carrying out the following transactions for customers:

- Cash deposits
- Cash withdrawals
- Demand draft/pay order instructions - accepting and processing
- Accepting instructions for FD breaks
- Effecting internal account to account transfers
- Accepting and processing stop payment instructions
- Assist in Service Delivery by ensuring timely service to customers so customer traffic is efficiently managed.
- Recommend workflow changes for customer service with greater efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform General Reconciliation and Compliance Activities which may typically include:

- Dual control of Cash functions
- Control of Security stationary
- Review of processing entries and vouchers
- Educating customers about direct banking channels so specific transactions can be migrated to alternate channels

**Business**
- Non-Financial related
- Sales Referrals: where relevant, identify prospects for cross-selling from observation of customer transactions and highlight the same to sales staff
- Be multi-skilled to handle all kinds of transactions and services in the bank
- Ensure transactions are processed with a high level of accuracy and commitment to satisfy customer needs
- Ensure validity and completeness of transactions processed and ensure concessions relative to exchange rate, fees, charges etc. are authorized/ overridden by appropriate authorities
- Responsible for general reconciliation and control activities
- Ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines and ensure mínimal comments in audits and other inspections
- Gather/prepare statistics for service quality and productivity indicators
- Ensure proper follow up / tracking of cases and closure within turnaround time (if applicable)
- Initiate and strive towards achieving set targets and service standards

**Processes**
- Ensure compliance to all process notes and circulars issued from time to time.
- Undertake accurate and timely processing of all customer instructions as per applicable processes/ circulars.
- Understand the Bank’s mis-selling & sales policies as well as policies and procedures and ensure adherence all the time
- Complete all requisite trainings on time

**Risk Management**
- Must be aware and ensures compliance of all the policies and procedures issued in relation to ORMA, Group Code of Conduct, Know Your Customer and Money laundering prevention on an ongoing basis. Any suspicious transaction must immediately be reported to the supervising officer
- Premises management in areas of merchandising, housekeeping as well as store management
