As a Hand Embroidery Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the hand embroidery department. Your role involves coordinating and leading a team of skilled artisans to ensure the timely and high-quality execution of hand embroidery techniques on garments and accessories. You will collaborate closely with designers, production teams, and other stakeholders to bring creative visions to life through intricate and detailed hand embroidery work.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of hand embroiderers, providing guidance, training, and support.

Ensure that the team understands and follows design specifications and quality standards.

Project Coordination:
Collaborate with fashion designers to understand the design concepts and embroidery requirements for each project.

Plan and organize the workflow to meet production timelines and deadlines.

Quality Assurance:
Implement and maintain high-quality standards for hand embroidery work.

Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that finished products meet design and quality specifications.

Resource Management:
Manage and allocate resources, including materials and manpower, effectively to optimize productivity.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.

Training and Development:
Identify training needs within the team and provide ongoing skill development opportunities.

Stay informed about new embroidery techniques and trends, and facilitate the implementation of innovative practices.

Communication and Collaboration:
Act as a liaison between the hand embroidery team and other departments such as design, production, and quality control.

Communicate project updates, challenges, and successes to relevant stakeholders.

Problem Solving:
Address and resolve issues related to production delays, quality concerns, and any other challenges that may arise in the hand embroidery process.

Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of production schedules, material usage, and quality control measures.

Generate reports on team performance and project outcomes.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in hand embroidery, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of techniques.

Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a similar role.

In-depth knowledge of different fabrics, threads, and embellishments used in hand embroidery.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.

**Education**:
A degree in fashion design, têxtile arts, or a related field is preferred.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- total work: 10 years (preferred)
