**Role: Scrum Master**

**What part will you play?**

Provides servant leadership to 1 or more cross-functional teams in an Agile work environment.

Guide, Mentor and coach Scrum teams and organization on living out the Agile principles and Scrum values.

Taking care of constructive collaboration between the development teams, product owners, product management, SME (Subject Matter Experts) and other stakeholders.

Effectively facilitate all agile ceremonies for the Scrum team & Value Stream.

Identify and help team to manage cross team dependencies efficiently.

Facilitate proper backlog health and backlog refinement with Scrum team, facilitate backlog prioritization, decomposition, release and sprint planning.

Efficiently helps team to remove blockers for the team or escalate as needed.

Ensure team is managing multiple rapid development cycles and respond well to change.

Ensure excellent inter-team coordination and communication.

Understand complex technical items and abstract issues/risks into practical items.

Ensure continuous improvement and increasing performance in scrum teams.

Represent the project goals toward the team and support their fulfilment.

Act as a change agent in the Team and the surrounding organization to help changing culture and attitude.

Protect the team from outside interference.

Ensure governance, e.g. effort tracking within Sprints using Jira, documentation within Wiki (Confluence).

Guide the team to develop metrics and estimates, and periodically evaluate the process to become better in making predictions and reducing risks.

Participate in Communities of Practices (CoP) for Scrum Master to share experience within the organization.

Willingness to work outside a normal daily schedule to facilitate remote team

members across different time zones.

Foster Team collaboration and help in resolving conflict & Resolve conflict through arbitration, negotiation, reasoned discussion, or escalation.

Regularly supervise and control the metrics to meet project/product goals.

Ensure that sprint deliverables are adhering to the Quality and regulatory guidelines.

**Use your skills to move the world forward**

Engineering Degree with 10+ years of experience in Software Product development

Strong analytical and conceptual skills, team orientation and motivational/inspirational skills.

Familiarity with Agile at Scale: LeSS, SaFE, CSM, etc.

Should be aggressive, open, and proactive in collaborating across teams/organizations

Knowledge of lean/agile project management practices.

Familiarity with the tools like, Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, Confluence. Understanding of normal software development practices involved with the design, development, testing, packaging, release, and sustaining of complex software systems. Knowledge of methods, tools and techniques for estimation, risk analysis, data interpretation, root cause analysis.

DevOps knowledge & Knowledge about TDD/BDD, Refactoring, CI/CD, etc.

Excellent English language skills (verbal and written) is a must for effective day to day communication and facilitating Scrum ceremonies.

Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master Certification is a plus.

Experience in Quality Management.
