Key Responsibilities

Wedding Planner
- Business Outcome Ownership - Build a culture which is biased towards outcomes, not output. This includes making sure that all projects are outcome driven, ensuring that outcomes are meaningful to the business, making team members at all levels feel committed to deliver outcomes and connecting outcomes to company strategy.

Events operations managers need to balance creativity with logistics, financial planning duties. They should excel at multitasking and balancing big-picture concerns like venue and contractor selection with details like décor planning, monitoring progress, effectively utilizing resources and personnel to stage large
- and small-scale events.

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- **Event Operations**:Event operations managers work with their design teams and vendors to select elements of the event, beginning with the venue itself. Some of the key aspects are**:a) Vendor development, relationship management; b) artist selection; c) hotel and venue selection, coordination; d) client interface for project updates; e) overall project management and execution**.
- **Maintain Event Budgets**: Event operations managers play a vital role in ensuring that events stay on budget. During the planning phase, the event operations manager works with the vendor team to develop an overall budget as well as category-specific budgets for certain elements of the event. Throughout the process, the event operations manager identifies opportunities to cut down costs or reallocate funds to ensure that the project stays on budget. Event operations managers are knowledgeable about cost-buildup of each element and **provide expert production level guidance **to the internal teams as well as vendors on finding ways to reduce costs.
- **Collaborate with Client Servicing and Design Team Before and During Events**: Event operations managers are often the primary point of contact for the Client Servicing team and are responsible for answering questions and resolving issues that arise over the course of the event. As a result, event operations managers need to be hands-on and be on-site for the event itself to ensure that it goes smoothly and quickly responds to client issues. The event operations manager also provide updates and guidance throughout the planning and execution process.

Experience, Skills:

- Overall experience of atleast 7 years with atleast 2 - 3 years in weddings
- Bachelor’s degree in event management or any other related discipline.
- Possess proven experience as an event operations manager.
- Possess excellent budgeting and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills in both written and spoken forms.
- Effective negotiation skills will be of top priority.
- Technical skills: Technical Feasibility of Design and Structural stability. Knowledge of various materials used in weddings such flowers, cloth, sets, etc.
- Good knowledge of artist management and partners available: starting from small scale artisans and dancers and going up to celebrity performers.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Possess remarkable problem-solving skills
- Must be an excellent team player with great interpersonal relationship skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Possess outstanding event planning skills
- Top-notch logistic skills will be an added advantage
- Ability to show calmness under intense pressure
- Robust administrative and management skills
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to take initiatives without being prompted

Person should be having a knowledge about wedding industry and having atleast 3 year experience.
