Your Role as a Student Counsellor:
As a Student Counsellor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the lives of our students. Your primary objective is to provide comprehensive counselling services that support the social, emotional, and academic development of each student. You will be a trusted mentor, listener, and guide to help students navigate challenges and overcome obstacles along their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:
Individual Counselling: Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students to address personal and academic challenges, fostering emotional well-being, self-awareness, and self-esteem.

Group Counselling: Organize and lead group counselling sessions to facilitate discussions on relevant topics like study skills, time management, stress management, and peer relationships.

Career Guidance: Assist students in exploring their interests, strengths, and career aspirations, providing valuable guidance and information on educational pathways and career opportunities.

Crisis Intervention: Be prepared to provide immediate support and intervention in cases of student emergencies or critical situations.

Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and school administrators to develop strategies that promote students' academic success and emotional well-being.

Workshops and Seminars: Organize workshops and seminars for students, parents, and staff on topics related to mental health, personal development, and educational advancement.

Qualifications and Skills:
Master's degree in Counselling, Psychology, or related fields.

Certification in School Counselling is a plus.

Previous experience in counselling or mentoring roles, preferably in an educational setting.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to empathize and connect with students of various ages and backgrounds.

Excellent communication and active listening skills.

Knowledge of developmental stages in adolescents and understanding of diverse learning needs.

Ethical and professional conduct with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
