Job Title: Cloud PAAS Administrator
Job Type: Contract (Long Term)
Job Location: Doha, Qatar
Duration: 1 Year (Extendable Yearly)
Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related
Job Responsibilities:-
Job Purpose
Developing, integrating and managing cloud services based around the following service models: IaaS (Infrastructure as a service), PaaS (Platform as a service) with particular emphasis in Azure
Experience of migrating from on-prem to Azure and integration of on-prem AD to Cloud AD
Cloud service deployment, security, encryption, identity & authentication, traffic analysis, and related techniques.
Optimizing cloud services, through automation, scaling and monitoring, with particular emphasis in Azure.
Administer UNIX based OS
To ensure service availability and performance targets are achieved.
Support pre-release and release-delivery activities (when requested)
Develop, test, and release solutions and deliverables
Self-startup and team player
Self-motivated to take ownership of projects without much supervision
Steady and fast implementer
Ability to time-slice between multiple projects and multiple customer requirements 3 Job Dimensions
Communicate effectively on a business, technical and operation levels
Ability to diagnose various Azure PaaS related issues
Ability to research Azure PaaS technical issues and implement resolution strategies when required
To work within structured and defined service management practises (Incident, Change, Configuration, Release Management, etc)
To work and be measured against strict Service Level Agreements
Provide quality assurance validation and verification of Change and Release Management processes
To provide a technical presence in the implementation of client solutions
To maintain an accurate reflection of all client solutions through Configuration Management Database (CMDB), documentation and online portals
Continually improve build, release and installation process by integrating additional automation systems
Provide track lead with clear, concise updates in relation to clients' solution.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years of I.T. experience with at least 2 -3 yrs. in Microsoft Azure
In-depth Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Azure PaaS features
Hands-on experience on Azure App Service Model (Web Apps, Mobile Apps, API Apps, Logic Apps)
Hands-on experience on Azure storage services like SQL DB, Document D.B., Data Factory, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses
Hands-on experience on Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, and Notification Hubs
Deep understanding of Azure Analytics features like Stream Analytics, Machine Learning, and Application Insights.
Good Knowledge on migrating on-premise applications to Azure PaaS and Azure IaaS
Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft clustering services
Secondary Computing Environment Certification's (MCTS, etc) or be able to obtain them within six months
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access)
ITIL v3 foundation
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with specific focus on technical and operational documentation
Communicating regularly with technical, applications, and operational staff, to ensure the service integrity and security
Create and maintain procedures and documentation for PaaS services deployment.
Evaluate, select and implement software to aid in support tasks
suggest enhancements to production deployments
Work to resolve and alleviate failures, problems, or concerns in a timely manner
Trouble-shooting and crisis management methods
