Job Description
Professional at this designation will be responsible for automating complex cloud production infrastructure and will be continuing to secure our infrastructure to protect us and our clients new technologies. You be also responsible for building new software project for the demand by the client using new technologies that improve our team's tools and performance across our whole software stack and infrastructure. Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Research new technologies that will improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement highly scalable applications.
  • Integrate infrastructure builds with application deployment processes.
  • Analyze, design and evaluate automation scripts and systems.
Skills:
  • You should be able to writ vast amounts of code around infrastructure automation and have solved multiple problems by automating your way out of them. You should be able to removed yourself from repeating mundane tasks.
  • You should be responsible for running operations for a service thats used by a large user base.
  • You should understand the importance and impact that good operations can have on the rest of a product and the positive ripple effects that it can have across an entire engineering organization.
  • Whenever there was a technology you did not understand, you grabbed the book and figured it out.
  • You have good knowledge of a scripting language (e.g. Ruby/Bash/Python).
Qualification
  • Bachelors in Computer Science, MS in Engineering or Equivalent
  • Certification or Experience in Dev-Ops/Ansible.
