One of a reputable company based in Gulf country, dedicated to providing reliable power solutions seeking a skilled and experienced Generator Mechanic to join team and contribute to the routine repair and maintenance of Cummins 12 kVA generator.
**Job Summary:**
As a Generator Mechanic , you will be responsible for the inspection, repair, and maintenance of Cummins 12 kVA generators. The role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing routine servicing, and ensuring that the generators operate efficiently and reliably.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Generator Maintenance:**
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks on Cummins 12 kVA generators to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform regular inspections to identify and address any potential issues.
2. **Repairs and Troubleshooting:**
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other issues affecting generator performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly to minimize downtime.
3. **Parts Replacement:**
- Replace or repair defective parts and components of the generator as needed.
- Source and order replacement parts in coordination with the procurement team.
4. **Testing and Quality Assurance:**
- Conduct tests on generators after repairs or maintenance to ensure proper functionality.
- Implement quality assurance measures to guarantee reliable generator operation.
5. **Documentation:**
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Provide reports on the status of generators, highlighting any concerns or recommendations.
6. **Safety Compliance:**
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance and repair tasks.
- Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a Generator Mechanic, particularly with Cummins generators.
- Technical certification or relevant qualification in generator mechanics or a related field.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in generators.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures.
