Responsibilities:
Fund Accounting:
1. Perform fund accounting activities, including bookkeeping, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
2. Ensure accurate and timely recording of investment transactions, capital calls, distributions, and fee calculations.
3. Monitor fund expenses, accruals, and investor capital contributions.
4. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
5. Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the completion of audits and the preparation of financial statements.

AIF and IFSCA Compliances:
1. Stay up-to-date with AIF and IFSCA regulations, guidelines, and reporting requirements.
2. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.
3. Prepare and file necessary reports and disclosures with regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
4. Conduct periodic compliance reviews to identify any potential issues and recommend corrective actions.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:
1. Analyze investment performance, financial data, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support decision-making processes.
2. Prepare investment-related reports, including performance reports, investor reports, and investor capital account statements.
3. Assist in the preparation of financial models, forecasts, and budgeting exercises.
4. Collaborate with the investment team to evaluate investment opportunities, perform due diligence, and assess financial viability.

Process Improvement:
1. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the finance function.
2. Streamline accounting procedures, enhance controls, and ensure adherence to best practices.
3. Collaborate with portfolio companies to implement process changes and optimize efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:
 Chartered Accountant (CA - Fresher) qualification is required.
 Proven experience in fund accounting, preferably within a venture capital, private equity, or asset management firm.
 Strong knowledge of AIF and IFSCA regulations, compliances, and reporting requirements.
 Proficient in financial accounting principles, practices, and standards.
 Familiarity with accounting software (tally)
 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
 Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
 Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, investors, and regulatory authorities.
